ECO-CONNECT (Ecological Connect) we are a social food processing company dedicated to giving the best value for your money through offering a well packaged product portfolio of dehydrated, nutritious, natural and affordable food. We are glad to be a recipient of the Green Innovators Award Zimbabwe 2018.
Our product portfolio consists of,
1. Natural food powders produced from dried fruits, vegetables and trees.
2. Dried natural fruits and vegetables.
3. Natural and herbal teas.

What is our cause?

There is rampant food loss and wastage which is 40% at global level. According to FAO, almost 50% of fruits produced annually are lost and wasted globally. Food loss and wastage ranks 3 in the emitters of greenhouse gases causing climate change.

At ECO-CONNECT we use sustainable and cost-effective post-harvest and food value addition techniques to reduce food wastage, loss and reduce greenhouse gases emissions in rural areas. We work with community groups of youths, women and HIV/AIDS positive people, in Mazowe Rural District of Zimbabwe.

All our plans and programmes at ECO-CONNECT revolves around contributing to the attainment of the Global Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) that is the Agenda 2030 for Sustainable Development and also contributing to feeding 9 billion people by the year 2050

Where are we based?

We are based in Ward 28, Mvurwi, Mazowe Rural District, north-west of Zimbabwe.

How do we work?

We are working with various groups of smallholder farmers, youths, women and people living with HIV/AIDS. We are setting up solar dyers in rural villages, buying agricultural produce from smallholder farmers and community groups, solar dry it, package and sell under our brand name ECO-CONNECT
